At the Velen site, we offer you an exciting and varied job in our factory. As a process engineering manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- In your role as a supervisor, you will be responsible for the entrepreneurial management of process engineering with a focus on compounding. 
- You will monitor production processes to ensure consistently high product quality and take corrective action in the event of deviations and quality issues. 
- You will provide technical data and specifications for customer inquiries and project calculations.
- You plan, organize and supervise test series for process optimization and transfer successful trials to series production.
- You will identify and implement technical improvements to increase productivity and cost efficiency and keep processes up to date with the latest technology through market observation. You will also create technical specifications for new investments.
- You will support the processing of customer complaints through technical analyses in cooperation with quality management.

Profile:

This is what you bring to the table for this position:

-  You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on process engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable technical degree. 
- You can draw on several years of professional experience in the field of compounding or extrusion and ideally have initial management experience.
- You are characterized by an understanding of business administration, as well as a process-oriented, pragmatic but also conceptual way of thinking and working in projects and teams.
- Your strengths are strong problem-solving skills, technical understanding, initiative and independence. 
- You are a communicative personality with strong assertiveness.
- Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.
